What are Russian Lashes?
Known as 3D Volume, this multi-lash layering application technique is an extremely popular lash treatment. Originating from Russia, it involves adhering multiple ultra-fine lashes onto a single natural lash to create a voluminous yet lightweight look. Applying bouquets of synthetic lashes around a single natural lash, volume is inevitable.

Everyone. Particularly for people with finer lashes wanting a fuller look but suitable for those that are looking for more volume that standard lash extensions.
How are Russian Lashes different from classic lash extensions?
Before the Russian Lash became the established technique we all know and love, the concept of applying multiple synthetic lashes to a single natural lash was frowned upon. Potentially weighing down the eye lid and compromising the health of the lashes over time, it was a big no-no. So, what changed?
A single classic lash extension can be up to 0.20mm in diameter whilst Russian Lashes are a mere quarter of this size, measuring just 0.05mm. It is therefore possible to apply between 2 and 6 synthetic lashes to each natural lash, without impacting the condition of natural lash. All depending on the desired look, Kolaine Beauty Lounge offers everything through 2D, 3D, 4D, 5D and 6D.
How long does it take to apply Russian Lashes?
Due to the intricate nature of these extensions, we recommend an allowance of 1.5 - 2.5 hours to apply.
Your desired volume will have to be considered too. Rated from 2D to 6D (number of synthetic lashes per natural lash), the application process and speed does vary and once a desired lash look is established we can adjust the price and lengh of time needed for application accordingly . Creating the desired Russian fan is done on the spot, hand made by the technician to suit you just right. Precision and experience is a necessity when considering this technique.
How long do Russian Lashes last?
Similarly to classic lash extensions, we advise infills every 2-3 weeks to maintain you luscious look.
Will Russian Lashes damage my own lashes?
No. This is a myth. With correct maintenance, you can be sure Russian lashes will not damage you natural eyelashes
Will I need a patch test to have Russian Lashes?
Yes. To prevent reactions to the Glue we ask that a patch test is carried out 48 hours prior to your appointment*
